Omari has been  working as a social entrepreneur since 2011 and her aims are to raise awareness of Black role models, and promote careers  outside entertainment and sports and also the Director of The I Can be  Project

ABOUT

Our mission is to promote ad achieve increased inclusion of (Black, Asian,Minority Ethnic) BAME communities and those considered Hard To Reach within our society, and  accomplish effective development and growth of our target communities from within, effectively empowering our target communities to help themselves.

Our Aim and Objectives

 

• To improve the prospects of people from disadvantaged residents especially within deprived sections of the communities

  • Addressing issues facing disadvantaged residents and reducing barriers of entry for those considered hard to reach

• Promote inclusion for residents living within the 10% most deprived wards in Londons capital within their communities and the wider society.

 Pempeople have recently recruited a number of volunteers as our work increases , we are strategically aligning ourselves to becoming a fully fledge charity during the firts and second quarter of 2014.

 Having successfully delivered a number of projects and funding becoming more scarce we feel that this is our best way forward as we have not recieved continous funding from any organisation.

 Our work does take time as we always start from within enhancing the skils of the local residents that we work with, empoweringthem, whilst aiming to reduce social and economic inequalities.

 Nicholas  has been active within the Livesey Ward Peckham and Coldharbour Ward  Brixton both characterised with high levels of Poverty . His aim has also been about  giving the disadvantaged and disengaged to  be part of mainstream society and to give them a voice.
